Linen
Our aim is to ensure that every linen item we carry in our linen bedding, bath linen, kitchen linen and linen clothing collections are simple, sustainable and stunning. We can offer you top quality, beautiful items that are designed to last and to enhance any interior. Whilst choosing natural fabrics for your home textiles and clothes is always the best option, linen is even better than other fabrics. Linen requires less water and fewer pesticides to grow than cotton. It is biodegradable, so after its long life it will gently decompose without leaving any waste. All parts of the flax plant can be used, meaning there are no harmful bi-products as a result of our processing and manufacturing procedures.
Have you heard of Fashion Revolution Initiative? It’s a global movement with the vision of fashion industry that conserves and restores the environment and values people over growth and profit. Fashion Revolution Week is an initiative to raise awareness about the need of transparency and sustainabily in global fashion industry. It’s very natural for LinenMe to support this initiative as sustainability has always been at the heart of LinenMe. We are proud to join Fashion Revolution Week 2020. Meet people who made your clothes!
In these strange times it’s hard to find a sense of normality and routine. But traditional holidays can help. They can be a focal point for family gatherings within the household, so that instead of just existing alongside each other (sometimes far too closely!) we can actively do something fun together. And thanks to technology there are plenty of opportunities to stay in touch with loved ones who are quarantined or in lockdown elsewhere. Keeping some familiar routines and rituals can be very comforting when everything is so uncertain and scary. So, here are some ideas for having a happy Easter weekend, despite the difficult situation we are all facing.
