It also helps regulate your body temperature so if you tend to feel cold in bed during the cooler months but also hate being too hot at night in summer, then linen is an ideal choice.

Stonewashed bed linen offer consumers comfort of the comfortable and immediate use, but there are some things one should know before buying stonewashed linen. The fabrics are washed in large industrial washing machines with large rocks, so problems can arise. Such like rips, tears and fraying. Manufactures focused on quality always perform checks themselves before making any end products, but always double check yourselves. If the process of stone washing is done incorrectly, e.g. too many cycles were used; the fabric may become too thin and tend to wear out much quicker. Also it’s maybe interesting to know that the type of stone washing by using enzymes allow to avoid the disadvantages of regular stone washing. This process is a chemical wash which gives the linen fabric the same look as stone washed, but without the wear that the stones actually give it. And it is replacing the classic stone washing technique greatly. Apart from appearances stonewashing also helps to increase the softness and flexibility of the rigid fabric. This technology softens the pure linen and loosens the weave, resulting the washed bed linen to have a slightly faded fabric with a vintage feel on dyed colors. Garment washed bed linen has a more casual and comfortable look, which becomes trendy and sought after.
